Join us as we explore different materials and stretch our creative and problem-solving muscles. STEAM LAB is a monthly program for preschoolers to explore STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math) through play! Walk back through time when you visit the restored 1858 Beckman Mill and Cooperage and Museum. Grinding, blacksmithing and historic trade demonstrations, soldiers representing different eras of war, music, and classic cars on display. Food available for purchase. Our free, all-in-one program includes research-based, up-to-date information for expectant parents. Topics include: • Understanding pregnancy and labor • A birth story • Comfort techniques • Understanding medical procedures • Cesarean birth • Intervention alternatives and non-medicated births • Postpartum care including breastfeeding basics • What to expect with immediate newborn care Choose from one of our every-other-month, “Weekend Express” classes, from 9 am - 12:30 pm on Saturday.
